      Red War Bonnet, who succeeded his father to the chieftainship married a full-blood Ojibway woman. This union produced two sons. When was ensured between the Sioux and Ojibways, he took his sons and left his wife with the Ojibways. One son was Wapasha known as Snow Mountain was born on the border of Mille Lacs about 1683; Gra-BK2, section 2, p 87, GRA-BK2, Section 2.
