Fuller Coal Mine, Carbon, Alberta Canada:
The Fuller family owned and operated the Fuller coal mine for some years about 1920. The mine opened in 1918 and went through several owners before it eventually shut down in 1930. The mine was a big part of the Fuller family life for many years. Cabon Coal Mine No. 749, Rail Spur
The old Fuller Coal Mine No. 749 Carbon, Alberta Diagram shows the Mine shafts and tunnels within the mine as well as the openings. You can see that the mine tunnels are beneath the ground and stretch to both sides of the coulee. The pictures are taken from the right side of the coulee looking down towards the creek. The location of the rail spur has been drawn into the picture.
