Fuller Farm and Ranch, Carbon, Alberta, Canada:

Babe Fuller said that the boys in the Fuller family were farmers to help on the farm but they were also cowboys and loved activities of being cowboys including bucking broncs and all that goes with that. We know that some of the boys participated in the Calgary Stampede, a big yearly rodeo event. Glen signed up for the army in 1916 and listed as "Ranch Cowboy" as his profession or trade and in another questionnaire he listed "Horse Breaker" as his profession. Harry listed "Farmer" on his.

Fuller Farm, lunch break during harvest, 1923

Charles Woodman Fuller is standing on the right overseeing his harvest crew - no mention that any of them are family, Except on the boy on the far left is Babe Fuller about 11 years old ....

I'll bet the crew looked forward to this lunch baskets arriving, packed up by the girls on the farm with a coffee pot ....

This is a wonderful picture and gives you the atmosphere that existed at the time.
