Came to me house in the Village of Wabashau, Territory of Minnesota, The couple Theophilus Joseph La chapelle and Isabella Cratte, both of the town , County aforesaid, to join in Matrimony. The pary of the first part - to wit - T.J Lachappelle was sworn by me that he knew no reason why he & said Miss Cratte should not be joined in Matrimony and his answer was that he knew of not reason why they should not, in presence of two witnesses to wit - H.P.
