"Mira worked in Medical Records at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for many years. She was very proud that her great-grandfather and his Indian wife were founders of Wabasha, MN. Mira was a voracious reader, enjoyed sewing, and loved her gardening. She is survived by a son, Robert (Carolota) Rice of Miami, FL; a daughter, Jill (Robert) Rosenthal of Elkhorn; 7 grandsons; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Alma; and 2 brothers, Charles and William. Family graveside services will be later this spring in Darien Cemetery on the Rice Family Lot.
