      Margo Henning (Zidek)
      Margo (Zidek) Henning passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Margo was born at Tudor, Alberta and lived most of her early life in the Acme area. In 1970 she moved to Calgary and took C.N.A. Training and nursed on the surgery floor at the Grace Hospital. Margo married Sidney Henning in 1975 to reside and farm at Mossbank, Saskatchewan, later retiring to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1998. She was a member of the Order of the Royal Purple Lodge receiving her 50-Year and Lifetime pins. She loved to read in her spare time and also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, Swedish weaving and gardening. She enjoyed a good fame of canasta, pinochle and crib. Margo was predeceased by her mother, Anne in 1943; her father, John Zidek in 1951; her sister, Helen Paull in 1990; and her husband, Sidney Henning in 2006. Margo is survived by two daughters, Joan Groff and Carol (Dwaine) Braithwaite; one son, Kenneth (Cindy) Balderson; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A private family funeral service will be held at Margo’s request.
