Hun blev 29.3.1931 gift med læge Alfred Mellemgaard 7.7.1904-14.2.1966 bror til Ingers mand. Han praktiserede i Aalborg og var senest læge ved åndssvageanstalten i Vodskov, hvor de indrettede deres hidtidige sommerhus til helårsbolig. Der døde Alfred pludseligt i 1966, kun 62 år gl. Efter at være blevet enke er Ottha flyttet tilbage til Aalborg, hvor hun har ejet et hus i Hasseris, som hun senere solgte med fortsat bopæl pa første sal. På grund af fysiske helbredsproblemer er hun juni 96 flyttet til en beskyttet bolig i Hasseris. Også Ottha var en omsorgsfuld storesøster; Da jeg gik på Katedralskolen i Aalborg, var jeg i spisefrikvartererne hjemme hos hende i Bispensgade og fik min gode frokost. Ottha og Alfred fik to børnene:

      My sister Ottha Larsetty Eriksen f.31.8.1906 was also born in Gandrup. She married 29.03.1931 a physician Alfred Mellemgaard 7.7.1904-14.2.1966 who was the brother of Inger's husband. He practiced in Aalborg and was later a doctor at a mental hospital in Vodskov, where they moved homes and set up as a permanent residence. Alfred died suddenly in 1966, only 62 years old. After being widowed, Ottha moved back to Aalborg, where she owned a house in Hasseris, which she later sold but continue residing on the first floor. Due to physical health problems, she in June 96 moved to assisted living accomidation in Hasseris. Ottha was a caring big sister to me. When I went to School in Aalborg, I took many lunch breaks at her home in Bispensgade and always had a very good lunch. Ottha and Alfred had two children:; Ful-DK, page 2-49, Ful-DK.
