On the 1860 Pomfret, Windsor, Vermont census p 232 in the household of Chauncey Vaughn - age 44, Blacksmith, b VT. He's not enumerated with Bestey. It would appear that wife Betsey claimed a civil war pension for son Abner, Sept, 1869, Certificate #172185 and that Simeon made claim April 1871, application # 510393. On the 1870 Pomfret, Windsor, Vermont census p 232 in the household of Chauncey Vaughn, age 54, b Vt - again, not enumerated with Betsey. On the 1880 Hartland, Windsor, Vermont census p 16 in the household of Charles Hall - farm laborer,
