[S215] Yvon Crête, Family tree data with sources, (2009 - 2011), Obit: “Another of Wabasha's old settlers and pioneers was taken last Saturday, February 18th, [1928], when Mrs. George McLeod passed away at St. Elizabeth's Hospital after a ten day's illness due to a severe cold from which she was unable to rally. Mrs. McLeod, whose maiden name was Lucy Cratte was born in this city, June 15, 1849. She was married to George McLeod in 1882 by Father Trobec at St. Felix church, and she has been a life long resident of this city. Mrs. McLeod has always been an active and conscientious member of the Catholic church, having been the president of the Altar Society for a long time, and had been a Messenger of the Sacred Heart till she became too feeble to get around and had to give this up, and was always faithful to her church on the first Friday of each month. She leaves to mourn her aged husband, George McLeod, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Couture and Mrs. O. H. Roundy of this city and two brothers, Octave (Tab) Cratte of St. Paul and Daniel Cratte of this city. Funeral services were held from St. Felix church in this city at 9 o'clock on Monday morning with interment in St. Felix cemetery.
