Skrevet af Lars Eriksen, Kolding 22. april 2017 The horse carriage has Grandpa [Veterinarian Jens Eriksen] holding the reins and Grandmother [Ane ‘Johanne’ Jensen] on the left in the back. The other couple is aunt Tille [Ottilia Jensine Eriksen, sister of my Grandpa] and her husband Johannes Hougaard from Kærgaard. The white horse was named Rap. It could run pulling a one horse buggy for 1 hour, wait for the vet at one of his stops and run back home just as fast. If Grandpa fell asleep on the way home, the horse could find its own way.
